Instructional Program (IP)

Overview

The GTHA Instructional Program (IP) / Early Hockey Skill Development runs in two sessions—typically starting in late October and January.

This program is designed for beginner skaters ages 5 and up.  We have new hockey players starting out at all ages, and welcome them to start with IP before transitioning to one of our hockey teams.

All 5-year-olds remain in the Instructional Program for the entire season. If your child is older than 5 and progresses quickly, they may be moved mid-season to the appropriate birth year team.
